Oxfork

ARCHIVE SITE: Chloe has since established up a wonderful restaurant in Charlbury, Chloe’s.

Case Study: Oxfork

Included: Web design, photography

Chloe is a culinary superstar who runs a supper club from her gorgeous, vibrant, mid-century-modern country home in Charlbury and I had the great honour of building her a site.

I wanted to create a site that reflected the look and feel of her home, bright colours, bold fonts, and a friendly feel.

The Oxfork site is a good example of what you can achieve with your own photos. I’ve seen some web designers saying how businesses should always have professional photos taken, but I beg to differ (even though I’m a photographer!).

I pulled the large majority of the photos directly from Chloe’s Instagram, and then took a few extra images of the space when I was very graciously invited over to one of her dinners (which was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend!).

So if you’re thinking about building a site, but don’t have the budget for a full shoot, take a look through the photos you have and pull together the ones that you think best represent you and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
