Video Production

Videos for social media, interviews, animation and more!

I’ve managed remote shoots, working with videographers around the world, as well as shooting myself here in the UK alongside my trustee collaborator Ryan Quarterman from Future Human Design Co.

I’ve also worked on animations with Oxford based scribe Zuhura Plummer.

So if you need something simple, like editing videos for a banner, to something more complex like an explainer video, I can absolutely do that for you! I can do everything from shooting, to recording audio, to editing, to animation.

Angel Sharp Media: St Anne’s Giving Day

I am very blessed to do freelance editing and shooting work for Oxford’s Film Production superstars, Angel Sharp Media. I worked alongside the team to capture interviews and B-Roll for St Anne’s Giving Day video.

HMVIP: Patient Stories

During the pandemic, I worked with Gill Gibbons from Wychwood communications to produce a series of videos that interviewed people who used CPap machines to assist them with their breathing, as well as Drs. The aim of the video was to dispel some of the fear about using the machines, and show people how much better it could make their lives.

Stowood Scientific Instruments: Set Up Videos

The pandemic brought with it a wide range of unexpected challenges. For Stowood Scientific instruments, because doctors were no longer able to explain how to set up their patients sleep monitoring devices, they were getting inaccurate readings. And at a time when NHS staff were overwhelmed, it seemed like a good idea to make a series of explainer videos to help patients set up their devices.

Virtual tour: Inside Oxitec Labs Worldwide

This was an especially fun video to make, as it involved co-ordinating video teams in the UK, US, and Brazil. Oxitec wanted to give a ‘virtual tour’ of their labs as part of their webinars for residents in the Florida Keys.

Somerville College : Welcome to MT20

A short video I produced with Future Human Design Co, welcoming new students to Somerville College Oxford, and showing them what to expect for Michaelmas term, 2020.

Oxfordshire Community Foundation’s Growing Minds Project Video

Growing Minds is an innovative and ground-breaking initiative to improve school readiness in disadvantaged communities. The project combines tested interventions to multiply impact. I animated the beautiful drawings by illustrator and scribe extraordinaire, Zuhura Plummer, to bring Oxfordshire Community Foundation’s Growing Minds Project’s message to life.

Oxitec Social Media Videos

Working alongside Ryan Quarterman from Future Human Design Co, I produced a collection of mini clips for biotechnology company Oxitec to use on their social media to help spread the message of the great work they do while showcasing the passionate team that work there.

Death of the Maiden Album Launch: Girl with the Secret Fire

I was asked by the super talent Tamara Parsons-Baker to capture their sold out album launch party at the Jericho Tavern. You can listen to the album over here!

Bristol Law Centre: Take A Closer Look Campaign Animation

Working with my illustrator friend and collaborator, Zuhura Plummer, we created this short animation for Law Centre superstars, Bristol Law Centre. We were asked to produce an animation that could clearly articulate how people can use the legal expenses insurance that come with their car or home insurance, for other purposes such as hiring a lawyer if facing discrimination at work. Zuhura wrote the storyboard, script and drew the images and I coloured them in and animated them. I also recorded the voiceover in my home studio and sourced the music in the animation.

Stowood Scientific Instruments Ltd

I produced this promotional video for Stowood Scientific Instruments for the 2019 Association for Respiratory Technology & Physiology Conference. When first commissioned to produce the 30 second video, I was asked if Fred (the company's overweight CPR doll) could be the protagonist. This led to the surreal nightmare/ dream sequence. They also requested a 'catchy jingle' which was enthusiastically provided by my husband. Illustrations, as always, are by the wonderful @zuhuraplummer It was voted second best video at the conference.
